The light that was raining down upon the world where we stand

Inspired a hundred dreams as I held your hand

And we danced in the streets singing all the songs we knew

The glee was blatant and honest, no other experience was ever so true

We stayed up late into the night wandering when day would begin

Surrounded by friends just as close as our kin

We pondered at the stars like fireworks stuck in the sky

The collective genius of all the world made us together, sigh

Some things can only be expressed in the miracle of breath

The moving and filling, that keeps us far from death

Well you used to walk on fire

I always wondered how you did that

How you danced over the pyre

As gracefully as the proud king's cat

But now I understand better I think

You were really walking in the cold

Miles without a drop to drink

All of your dreams long ago sold

To a man who promised you light

To keep you warm and safe from everything

So he gave you flames burning bright

And in wishes for the snow you began to sing

Day 325 - My Flame,Thursday

You lit up my life and warmed me through

With all those brilliant things that you do.

The way your hair falls across my face,

The way your heart beats in my embrace.

We watched the flames from my rug

Together bundled up, you and I, so snug

Its leaping reminded me of your dance

That sparked up a whirlwind of romance.

Will we last after the morning breaks?

I cannot say. Shall we raise the stakes?

With one more smirk on that fiery grin,

Again you make my whole world spin...

One night, that was all I meant this to be.

But now I am beginning to see

You are more than just my flame tonight

You seem to be my heart's delight.

At this hour it sparks with delight

The fire that crackles and glows

The blanket serves for a cozy night

In hand a book of whispering prose

Beautiful visions start to spin

Of golden threads and towers

They hint at moments about to begin

In green groves covered by flowers

There two lovers shall one day meet

And find ways into bright sunshine

It will bring in many moments sweet

And for one another they shall pine

He will become her shining knight

Proudly bestowing upon her everything

She will be his beacon of light

For one another happiness they will bring
