Thread of Life
Swinging and twisting as thread and rope
Is the message of who we are
Pulling from darkness and finding hope
In every pinprick that is a star
Take pride in what we know to be
There is so much the others cannot see
Grasp tight onto your convictions and dreams
Life will weather many a storm
It always takes more than what it seems
To get back to the simplistic norm
But if you gaze from where I do
You will find place for the old and the new
The path we take is a game for the Fates
They have the entire universe in their tapestry
Their decisions open all of the gates
But our actions close them into our reality
Man in the end is the final weaver
Our lives and world the final receiver
