Day 328 - Pink Socks

Some things belong in the grass
Like leaves and bugs and such
But the socks of a nice lass
That requires a special touch
Or a perfect day begging for bare feet
So her toes may wiggle in delight
A joy so very complete
She leaves her socks overnight

Day 327 - Freedom

Just try to yell a little bit louder
I can almost hear your soul's glee
Just laugh a smidgen prouder
Feeling the true moment, you're free
Dance your heart out until the end
Of the beginnings we all find ourselves in
No greater message to send
Than the reign of love can begin
I can see it twinkling in your smiles
Its embrace made by your hands
Gone for this time are all the trials
Right this second the world understands
Your soul is soaring with every beat
In this moment you are complete

Day 320 - Saturday's Smile

She has a secret in her twinkling eyes
Of adventures you need not know
How she flew in the bright blue skies
And dove into depths down below
In her happiness and rock star style
Today she stole Saturday's smile

Day 214 - Summer Time Travels

I have more adventures in mind
Than they ever need be privy to
Along paths that twist and endlessly wind
I will take you, darling just you
The flowers that hide the remaining track
Lead us away and onward to never look back

And so we will go hand in hand or apart
It need not matter in the slightest
Because the pitter patter of my heart
Is only attached to you, keeping life the lightest
That it has been or ever need be
That is the way off into the future I see

The grasses that grow hold many a message
They grow up high with hopes just as tall
That may take you one day off the old ridge
For the flying experience that grew us all
Because the flowers that hide the remaining track
Lead us away and onward to never look back

Day 106 - The Search for Serenity

The Search for Serenity
A young woman went out and away
On through the woods on a quiet day
Never was there a path or trail here
She had only the touch of her feet to steer
Steer the adventure she was taking
With all the hopes that she was making
In her bosom her heart swelled
Passion and hope together would weld
Weld like silver into a iron cast
A steady decision from the past
To find what others call clarity
That sacred moment of serenity
Some said the stones knew it well
Others that the waters had secrets to tell
And so she wandered in-between them all
So deeply beckoned by their ancient call
That says whispers are answers too true
To simply blurt out to every one of you
