Day 280 - Bald of Pride

Speak of my wisdom as that of a sage

But then lock me inside this cage

To gawk at me like I am a fool

Incapable of my mastering my own rule

Of the skies that are my domain

Instead you drench me in the pain

And sting of having no freedom

Though the world should be my kingdom

Day 101 - Soaring Hopes

Soaring Hopes

High above on wings of white

The carrier begins to shed light

Down onto the earth below

What a breathtaking show

You see her alone high above

Seemingly without another to love

Yet she is the leader in this sky

Crossing boldly to bravely defy

All that has been done before

Nothing can match her

She who dares to dream blue

The most brilliant and sweet hue

That calms and excites everyone

Hope on wings willing to stun

But not just hope soars up high

There is also the long lasting sigh

Of joy as her fellows follow

For it is only then that a leader can know

The sacred and the unseen

What all this has come to mean

Day 43 - Majestic

Majestic

Majesty itself cannot be defined

For it only exists in the human mind

Hypnotize the honesty into traveling far away

Save the candid speech for another day

I am king of all that surrounds this space

Mine is the path that you cannot trace

Wandering off into the bright paradise

No one but you may pay the price

For my own kind revel in my pride

As my beauty flares up from the inside

Check your envy at the door

There is not room here for it anymore

Follow me quietly if you so dare

Closing your eyes begin to recite your prayer

We will last forever right here and now

Without any explanation of why or how
