Day 324 - Wednesday's Wonder

Curl up into an inferno of shades
Whispering a secret that never fades
As the seasons become colder still
The colors ignite such a thrill
A story that runs through space and time
More lasting than any nursery rhyme
Ah the emotions it begins to stir
Defining Wednesday's wonder

Day 313 - Used to Be

You cut me here, there and everywhere
Draining me of my life color
I used to have designs of my own
But now I am marked by your violence

I weep in my forest, so lonely
As I dream of monsters cutting me still
But what hurt the very most was you,
You cut me here, there and everywhere

I used to bleed, when I still had blood
To sacrifice to your vendetta of pain
But now you take even more
Draining me of my life color

I used to sing a thousand songs
As the wind rustled through my leaves
Creating a new miracle each and every season
I used to have designs of my own

I once had a lover in a young girl
Who every day held me in a adoring embrace
I used to be marked by her love
But now I am marked by your violence

Day 299 - The Four

Silhouettes impressed upon the sky
Of tropical destinations we could try
These four watch as humanity grows
Bending and swaying as the wind blows

Day 148 - Ladybug - a red mesmerizing insect with black spots

Make the climb they once dared her
Sure that never from her home would she stir
But she proved them wrong all those haughty kings
She would go high up and not by her wings
No, she would scale the plant with care
Laughing with joy all the way up there
When she went up something magical occurred
Not an insect or a bit of life below stirred
Instead they watched her illuminate color
Something that had never appeared on any other
To this day insects far and near whisper of her feat
By her courageous actions she made the world more complete

Day 130 - Fairy Hollow

Nature's magic fills eyes with enchantment
The leaves and wood sprouting their own art
Leaving mere man gazing in amazement
Watching what grows from the plants heart
So much time flourishing and twisting
The ultimate hollow begins to grow
The wonder blooms persisting
To share all it has to know
And yet there is much it will hide
When a person chooses to not equally confide
