Day 348 - Staring Match

I had a thousand questions to ask you

Before I stood face to face with you

Now staring until you have the answer

To every single one of them will have to do

You seemed to have so much to say

When I was young and in my mind we would play

Now it seems you do not possess a tongue

But from my face your eyes do not stray

If ever I could manage to break this gaze

And untangle the mysteries so like a maze

I would leave this place once and for all

And yet all I can do is stay here in this daze

Day 337 - Falling

If it is we must fall forever

Let it be into another's soul

So as we delight in falling together

We notice wonders, as Alice did down the hole

We see at last how clocks can fly

On their wings they carry our time

We know in falling we can never die

So we talk for years in pleasant rhyme

Then we spend decades longer

Gazing into each other's eyes

And then with great length ponder

The ever changing black, pink, blue skies

Yes if we must fall eternally

We spend an age holding hands

In doing so we learn fully

Hoping that the common man understands

That in falling no injury comes to you

If in the love you discover another to be true

Day 55 - A Trusting Moment

A Trusting Moment

I will find the answer there

Deep in your eyes I will stare

Share with me and we shall discover

The delicate moments of one another

Meditate on quiet thought for a bit

We need not go anywhere, but sit

It is all about what it is we can do

What we allow one another to view

It is not something about infinity

It is the truth found in humanity

When we manage to take the time to see

What it is that the world can be
