Day 13 - Locked in Time

Locked in Time
Reflective moments cry out in symmetry
"I am too normal, in what you see."
Time is speaking in rhythmic ticks
So much to do, too much to fix
"But you do not recognize my tone,"
It insists, "There is more to be known."

Locked out in years and moments and breath
We walk the fine line before our death
Life is the dash that lies in between
So much is hidden and quiet unseen
Growth takes time and quiet stillness
Lack of this decreases ones' wellness

So breath falls and slowly rises
Bringing on smiles and many surprises
Moments drip away like rain
Keeping us bordering on sane
We are trapped and released as well
All with the slow tick-tock as our tell
