Day 335 - Simple Joys

If we can just sit, day in and out here
And tell tales of when we jumped the trains
Of how we enjoyed the spring water so clear
Singing along our moonshine lit lanes
Together we taught each other to celebrate
Long and hard and free as the wind blows
We would laugh, it was the epitome of great
Just as we sit in our messy old rows
Sitting here we know the simple joys
No need for anything but a song with the boys
