Day 351 - The Red Age Begins

Bewitch the night with the life you hold

In the quivering breasts of all breathers

The red light that you have cast out, so old

Making a world of all the eons of believers

The stars that sparkle about its reign

So willing to tell tales of their own glories

Becoming planets every now and again

In the red age, they become their stories

The ones that bards spun from below their light

Of long drawn out wars still to bleed from Earth

All the wonders and the holy spaces such a sight

The magic of Time and all its fathomless worth

Aye after tonight the red age has begun

Burning so bright, with the flames of the sun

Day 329 - Dreams of You

Things are so different in the night

You enchant me in the soft light

You whisper the stars down from on high

You put your eyes twinkle into the sky

You inspire me to speak in tongues

You are the scent filling my lungs

In this dream you are the sun and the moon

You are my midnight and my blazing hot noon

You are all that ever need be

You are everything that I see

The flowers turn to the shade of your hair

So golden and perfect in the night air

The rivers run deep in the blue of your eyes

The blush in your cheeks makes the sun rise

And I write on forever, only of you

For nothing else matters, or could be as true.

Day 253 - Bump in the Night

Time for a different adventure

One in the dark of night

No telling what may creep past us

Just as we turn out the light

Past the old arm chair and lamp

Tip toe with me down the halls

Down to the basement stairs

Picture frames covering the walls

We giggle but try to hide it

The mirthful and happy sound

Then suddenly I lose my balance

And we fall to the ground

The girls behind us laugh mercilessly

Until we grab ankles and pull them too

Nothing like ghost stories at a sleepover

To trip and laugh about the whole night through
