Day 260 - Modern Interruptions

These trees were once without interruption
No lines to choke the sky from blue to black
As the world has fallen to corruption
And we linger on telephone lines to get it back
We ought to bruise our egos instead
Of claiming the whole earth until we find it dead

Let's pull our trees into the foreground
And let the wires slowly disappear
Life can become a little more renowned
And the atmosphere a bit more clear
Let's make the choice right now, not wait
Before the Earth dies with the last words of "too late"
