Bewitch the night with the life you hold

In the quivering breasts of all breathers

The red light that you have cast out, so old

Making a world of all the eons of believers

The stars that sparkle about its reign

So willing to tell tales of their own glories

Becoming planets every now and again

In the red age, they become their stories

The ones that bards spun from below their light

Of long drawn out wars still to bleed from Earth

All the wonders and the holy spaces such a sight

The magic of Time and all its fathomless worth

Aye after tonight the red age has begun

Burning so bright, with the flames of the sun

Day 344 - The Other Suns

Extended sunsets flash before my eyes, and all this

Below the flames of suns ardently begin to kiss

This galaxy of ours where time stands still

Is filled to the brim with a building will

Laced with the story Ra's journey through space

Into the hearts of men who were bewitched by Moon's grace

Meeting the horizon to claim the final moment

Before night gains the ground and the skies rent.

Stars of hope that dance before us set afire

All the tiny hearts with a sweeping desire

Like the driest call of dead plains and brush

Call the fire to lick them up in a rush

This ancient battle so ultimate always stuns

As our lives are overrun with the power of the other suns

Day 297 - Another Sunset

There are an endless number of sunsets

In my life, future, past and present

But only one swept away all other bets

The one where you heard the messages I sent

When I sat in the glowing evening light

My heart racing at the sound of your voice

It reminds me of that safe time one night

When I finally understood I had no choice

Lovers cannot choose who they love or why

We must only hold those we love near

Breathing in unison until we both sigh

With only our feelings crystal clear

All else in the world fades far away

And every word is the right one to say

Day 290 - Best of Luck

Wrap me in a cocoon of contentment

That echoes the wisdom of the world

As folds of sweet darkness beckon

Light waves goodbye, fading into the horizon

I know no answer to why or how my darlin'

I only watch the wonder from your arms

I whisper to you, "So this is romance"

You spring to your feet and ask me dance

My heart races as together we spin

Across fields that are turning black

Tonight I bless the whole world over

For bringing you to me, my four leaf clover

Pour silver from the heavens here

Magic to revive the whispering creek

Wisdom with a message so clear

The stones themselves seem to speak

Of secrets from the era of unicorns

Ages of kings announced by fanfares of horns

The riches found here are liquid desires

Soaking melodies of flute playing bards

Until they spin tales over the fires

Which glisten like a billion shimmering shards

As silver pours from the sun's embrace

Across this sacred enchanted place

Day 65 - Stepping Softly

Stepping Softly

Take the steps one by one

As the ocean learns to take the sun

Reflect on the path that you choose to make

For one day it might be your path another will take

You may see them only as soft footprints in the sand

But they are markers of where you chose to stand

There is a message in all that we do and say

That states who we are until the last day

Within every breath that helps us to live

There is something sweet we give

And the glory of honest sight?
